New Cold

At the start of 2015 New Cold were finalising the build for their first site in UK. New Cold is building a European network of large scale cold stores, to serve top frozen food producing companies such as Aunt Bessies and McCain. They were looking to order furniture which would not only be practical but which had style and substance.

They were keen to find a local supplier, but one who could provide the quality of furniture at the competitive prices that we were looking for. They identified potential suppliers and contacted several of them. New Cold then shortlisted three, who they visited to better understand the service that they could offer and their ability to meet the specification whilst offering the flexibility that was demanded.

From these visits, New Cold were immediately impressed by the desire of the sales team at Re:Work, as we worked to understand their requirements and discussed various options, without pushing for a sale immediately. From this initial meeting, we visited New Cold’s new facility during the build and sat with them to go through the plans of the site and their initial requirements. We then went on to create a detailed quotation, which New Cold duly assessed, offering them multiple options. We made sure we took into consideration quality, style and pricing, and suggested items or designs that New Cold hadn’t previously considered.

From this visit, New Cold created their initial order, which we were prompt to act upon.  After a few more changes from New Cold, to the specification and further conversations with our sales team at Re:Work, New Cold placed their order.

“The guys were working under a tight lead time, but managed our expectations from the start and worked with their suppliers to ensure everything was delivered ahead of expectation.

The installation team from Re:Work installed all the furniture expertly and efficiently within a day and a half, and took all of the packaging and materials with them when they left.

We have since returned to Re:Work for more furniture due to an unforeseen change in our circumstances. Not only did they replicate the previous levels of service, they also helped us with some short-term rental requirements to cover the lead time of the furniture.”
