We would like to say a huge thank you to friends, family, clients & the team here at Re:Work for all of the hard work and positivity they injected into our Showroom Launch last week. We had a great day celebrating and really are so thankful that everyone came to enjoy our special day with us. We had the skills of the wonderful Northedge Photography on our side at the event, which has helped us give a crisp & clear round up for the day for your viewing pleasure! We would like to say a huge thank you to friends, family, clients & the team here at Re:Work for all of the hard work and positivity they injected into our Showroom Launch last week. The Space
Shared with sister company Desk Office Interiors, the showroom looked spectacular for the event. After worrying about the final look of the showroom for weeks, it was amazing to see it in its full form and filled with our lovely guests. The space, which spans over 10,000 sq ft. boasts high ceilings, large windows and a shabby-chic loft like look, was completely transformed into a spectacular showroom. The team had worked together to make the space look seriously launch party ready, thinking about everything from balloons to placement of mood-boards.
The Speech
With much food, fun & games circulating throughout the course of the day. It seemed the only thing that was missing was a heartfelt speech from Director, Caroline. Cue a well received and whole-hearted speech from the woman herself – thanking friends & family far and wide. So, everyone raised a toast to Caroline & the team, the Showroom and of course everything prosperous that the future will bring.
The Charity
As we know all too well, director of Re:Work Office Furniture, Caroline Wherritt is a proclaimed charitable lady. So of course, the event saw many games dotted about to not only give the day a fun feel, but to most importantly raise money for Wakefield Hospice – a charity close to Caroline’s’ heart. The games which were available to play were ‘Peg in A Bottle’ sounds simple… Right? The aim of the game is to drop 3 wooden pegs (in a row!) into a glass milk bottle from chest height. Douglas Main of The Bigger Boat was speculated to be the closest guest to winning, with only actually getting ONE peg in the bottle. Another favourite was the poker-themed board game which seemed, unsurprisingly, to entice out everyone’s slightly more competitive side…
The Spread
As I’m sure many of you will agree, one of the best parts of a launch event (other than admiring all the hard work everyone has put into the space) has got to be the food spread! And it did not disappoint on this occasion. The team had brought in The Catering Shed*, and we cannot recommend them enough… Everything from cheese savoury sandwiches to Indian platters & chicken wings! It was definitely a talking point of the afternoon, you can see why from the pictures below!
