When you've made a significant investment in good quality office furniture, you'd be well within your rights to expect a long, loyal service from it.

However, even the most well-made chair is subject to the daily wear and tear of office life – like the best of us!

But that doesn’t mean ao tear, a discoloured patch, a few dents or some leaking foam needs to spell the end of a chair’s life.

Re:Work’s re-covering service can bring a new lease of life to slightly time-worn chairs without you needing to go through the whole recycle and replace rigmarole – not to mention the added expense. And we’re asking you to please think twice before skipping a chair simply because it’s become a bit threadbare – the chances are the frame, the castors and the rest of the fabric still has plenty of service left in it.

The chair needs to be worth the expense and the effort – if you originally bought it for a tenner at the local garden party, it may well only be good for our recycling skips. But if you spent good money on it five or ten years ago, we can probably get that long out of it again. We’ll even match the new fabric to the existing colour so, other than the great new condition, you’d never know it had received a makeover.
